Pattern 3, Tulip Time

Now you can have Tulips All-Year-Round!

This beautiful blue & white china tureen is all machine pieced! The tulips, leaves and handles are appliqued quickly with fusible applique and machine blanket stitching (or hand applique if you prefer). A touch of embroidery on the trim of the flower pot adds an extra nice detail.

The two sweet little "Bunnies" in the center of the flower pot were specially designed fabric for this block. Click on the photo to see a larger image. The finished size of the block is 13" x 13". Included in the pattern are the fabric requirements, cutting and sewing instructions. We used "Bees Knees" fabrics from Maywood Studios for this quilt. You can locate it on-line or check out the shops on our website that carry fabric for this quilt. This is Pattern 3 in a series of 6 patterns.
