Commemorating womens
right to vote in America!
In 1912, 15,000 ladies paraded on New York's Fifth Ave., while over half a million supporters cheered them on. These marchers were asking for an American right that was denied only to criminals, idiots and women - the right to vote!
On June 4, 1919 victory was theirs as Congress passed the 19th amendment to the Constitution.
This is Quilt Block 2 in a series of 10 quilt block patterns.
